The scenic surroundings of the Waterside Theatre will welcome the quintessential folk style of County Derry band Lore for the very first time next month.
Joining the five piece folk group will be local singer/songwriter Eilidh Patterson who has performed in the States, the UK and in Europe in recent years, captivating audiences with her voice and songs.
Lore have embarked on an intense national tour this year which has taken them to some of Northern Ireland’s finest music venues, including The Roe Valley Arts Theatre and Belfast’s iconic Black Box as singer/songwriter Carolann Carlile explained: “Our 2017 tour has been a fantastic experience so far. We have had the privilege to play in some amazing venues to new audiences, and we are absolutely delighted that Eilidh can join us for this special local show."
Teenage Kicks by Lore
Lore, consisting of Luke Mc Closkey on guitar, Raymond O'kane on keys, Rebecca Hall on violin, Clìodhna McAteer on cello and Carolann Carlile on vocals, have been making their mark on Northern Ireland’s music scene since forming in 2014.
Having been nominated for ‘Best Irish Act’ for the second year by the Pure M Awards, the indie-folk group have gained acclaim and recognition nationally. The dynamic five piece have been play listed consistently on local and national mainstream radio and have wooed audiences with their enigmatic live performances supporting both upcoming and legendary Irish acts alike such as Mary Black, Ciaran Lavery, The 4 of Us and Cara Dillon.
