A surprise will be in store for local shoppers at the Richmond Centre next Saturday, 27th August, as the Millennium Forum in conjunction with the Richmond Centre, Arts and Business NI and Spark Opera will present ‘Operation Fun’.
‘Operation Fun’ will surprise local shoppers with impromptu musical performances rarely seen on an average Saturday afternoon. Coinciding with the city’s Foyle Pride Festival, this unique event promises lots of surprises for all the family as Cara McCartney, Sponsorship and Development Officer at the Millennium Forum, said: “We are very grateful for the support of our long term sponsors, the Richmond Centre, and to Arts & Business NI, who have helped fund this innovative project.
“Operation Fun will treat shoppers to an entertaining afternoon that will enhance their shopping experience on a busy Saturday in town. We can’t give too much away as it will spoil the surprise, but I would encourage everyone to attend – they won’t be disappointed!”
Jennifer Taylor, Marketing Manager at the Richmond Centre added: “The Richmond Centre is delighted to be working in conjunction with the Millennium Forum and Arts & Business NI on this innovative and inspirational project.
“We think our customers will really enjoy the surprises set to happen on Sat 27th of August and we really would encourage all the family to attend. It is an event not to be missed and the Richmond Centre are extremely proud to be a part of such fun and creativity”.
Operation Fun will take place in the Richmond Centre on Saturday 27th August from 11.30am – 3.30 pm.
